How long will my free ad remain on the website?
All the free ads remain on the website for 100 days. Upon expiration, you may choose one of the extended ad options and purchase extra display time.
Even better you may choose any of the featured ad options. This way, not only your ad will still remain on the website but it will also be displayed on the front page and in a far more attractive format. Plus, on Ad-fest, for an extended ad you'll be charged for a year what other similar websites may charge you by the month.
Can I resubmit the same ad?
Yes, but considering a paid option would benefit you much more. Your ad wold get much better exposure and you won't have to resubmit it as often.
How many ads can I submit?
You may display as many ads as you wish and in any matching category. You are not allowed to post the same ad multiple times! This is considered spamming and your account will be deleted. In this regard, to eliminate multiple postings, for ads that target a larger area or audience, the "Worldwide" category and the "General" Subcategories have been especially created.
By the way, will I get spam from ad-fest.com?
No way, neither from the staff nor from the people using the website, nor from third parties. Please click on the Privacy Policy link, at the bottom of the Classifieds, for details.
Will others be able to see my email address?
No, unless you choose to. When you post your ad, you have three options regarding the display and use of your email for inquiries. Make sure to check the option that fits you best. IMPORTANT! DO NOT enter your email on the Discussion Board, if you care about keeping it secret. It's optional, anyway and does not affect your posting. But don't worry, even if you submit your email and it will still be visible, it will be encrypted in the website code and it won't be visible to the spiders the spammers use, to get your information.
How about the message exchange, is it private?
Once your ad is out live, the people are able to find you fast and easy, and the communication is quick, direct, spam-free and completely private.
Can I be notified of postings I'm interested in?
Ad-fest doesn't send a newsletter but the content of the Classifieds is syndicated. This means that you can use the Yahoo and/or RSS button next to your ad, to receive real time updates of the postings to the Classifieds.
What is RSS and syndicated content?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication of websites sharing content either through other websites or newsreaders.
So, either get a Yahoo account if you don't have one already or, even better, get the world's best browser, Firefox, because it comes with an integrated newsreader. Both options are free and very easy to use. Just click on the button bellow to download Firefox.
